I have an Arai Quantum /F helmet whioch is about 5 years old
and in good condition but after this morning's fog and stuff I
reckon I ought to purchase another clear visor, so does anybody
have any recomendations of where to get one from?

Also, not ony did it mist up ont he outside it also complimented
it on the inside so is there a sure fire way to stop this? I have seen the
Irish guys rubbing pink stuff on visors at the bike show, people
saying to use washing up liquid but do any of them actually work?

    Any advice would be good.

    Thanks
    Alan

Buy a new visor from any Arai dealer, but get the Pinlock enabled one
and buy a Pinlock insert at the same time. No more pissing around
rubbing stuff that doesn't work into the visor then.

Spot on. Same lid, same system with both clear and dark visors.

This sounds like a good idea, any recomendations of where to
give my cash for such items?

    Thanks

See Champ's reply. If you buy online, what you save on the items you'll
    lose on the P+P

Even that in this month's Ride where they compare any number of anti-fog
systems? Pinlock came out on top. Washing-up liquid was at the bottom of
the list as worse than useless.

They're OK, if you don't mind dealing with thieving cunts.

but it appears it's just you that's had problems with them.

I've used them twice, for Shark and Shoei lids, and the service was
fine, and the product good value and quality. And Ben's used them.

Maybe someone told them who you were.

First line on the delivery address would have done that.

that'll be "unlucky Adie" then - I recommended a tyre fitter once that
had given me literally years of decent, good value service, and she
managed to use them on the day the "bike guy" wasn't there and they
fitted a tyre on back to front.

I was somewhat underwhelmed with their service and wouldn't use again
    by choice.
