    I'm just starting with a new company, and they have an office
    in England. Soon as I can I'm going to try wrangling a visit there...
    to see vintage Brit bikes -- starting with as many motorcycle museums
    and classic bike shows as I can get to (the Crown Jewels can wait).

    Of course I expect there'll be lots of classics for sale;
    it would be very cool to bring back something like a wartime
    BSA M20, such as this 1944 Royal Navy bike:

    just make sure you learn how to pronounce beaulieu correctly if you
    want to be taken seriously.

  7. You'll probably find more SOBBs in better condition right where you are.
    Remaining SOBBs this side of the pond are usually overpriced heaps of
    non-running shite in boxes.

    Teach a man to fish and he and his pikey mates will have the
    river cleaned out in a day.

    Kings Cross is quite nice these days.

    There were still plenty of underdressed tarts hanging around on
    Gt.Windmill Street last night, mind you - must have been *awfully*
    chilly.
