I'm just starting with a new company, and they have an office in England. Soon as I can I'm going to try wrangling a visit there... to see vintage Brit bikes -- starting with as many motorcycle museums and classic bike shows as I can get to (the Crown Jewels can wait). Of course I expect there'll be lots of classics for sale; it would be very cool to bring back something like a wartime BSA M20, such as this 1944 Royal Navy bike: http://www.vintagebike.co.uk/Bike Directories/BSA Bikes/pages/BSA M20 and M21.htm Sean_Q_ Vancouver, BC, Canada
You'll probably find more SOBBs in better condition right where you are. Remaining SOBBs this side of the pond are usually overpriced heaps of non-running shite in boxes. -- Dave GS850x2 XS650 SE6a Teach a man to fish and he and his pikey mates will have the river cleaned out in a day.
Kings Cross is quite nice these days. There were still plenty of underdressed tarts hanging around on Gt.Windmill Street last night, mind you - must have been *awfully* chilly.
