Visit to the BMW Motorrad Plant

    <fx: takes a deep breath and gets ready for monumental slap in the face>

    A little e-mail to BMW Motorrad has borne fruit, with their confirming that
    visits of their factory in Berlin (1050 km from Paris) from ten people or
    more, are possible, with three months notice.

    Anyone up for it ?

    Probably not before April of 2005.

    Let me know.

    I would be but it's bloody miles away from me as I live in the frozen
    wasteland of Scotland. (Wish it would freeze, damn damp lately) Are you
    leaving from Paris? I hated Paris when I was there so that would count
    against it too.

    I'm leaving from Paris as I live here, but there's no reason why a meet
    couldn't be arranged nearer Germany. Mappy says to go South of Maastricht,
    past Aachen, Dortmund ...

    Yeah...I'd be up for it. The only trouble is that I would not be able
    to help myself and would probably end up placing orders for bikes!
    I also don't have a bike in Europe....mind you I could probably borrow
    Ann's trumppy. Or hire one probably.

    It might be a bit far for most of the UKRM contingent to ride their
    unreliable, pikey bikes. 50 miles seems to be an expedition.
