    It's part of netiquette, and is easily understood by :

    Answer: Because it screws with the natural flow of conversation and
    thought processes

    Question : Why is top posting frowned upon and bottom posting the
    preferred method for responding?

    clipping a thread to only the salient parts is good practice too
    you don't need to repost the whole damn thing everytime, especially when
    it's just a 2 word response like "me too"
