Virago 250 Valve Clearance

Anybody know the Valve clearance for this little beastie? I have done a
Google search but came up with zip....................

mmmmm zip ? don't have that one in my feeler guage set .

 

Valve Clearances (COLD)

Intake - 0.08~0.12mm ( 0.003~0.005 in)

Exhaust - 0.10~0.14mm (0.004~0.006 in)

Valve Spring Free Length - 28.75mm (1.131 in )

 

Anybody know the Valve clearance for this little beastie?

4 thou inlet, 6 thou exhaust?

thats my guess...no doubt it comes in whatsit metre things too, but I
bet you 1 dollar and a stubby that is pretty close

 

When in doubt, 0.1mm is usually a pretty good guess. It's always
better to have them a little too loose than a little too tight, since
with the former you'll just get a bit of noise but the latter leads to
burnt valves...
