Biker2 (threadstopper) emerged from their own little world to say
They'll soon go off the idea, just like the old gimmers in N.Wales. They
found that the biggest culprits were locals.

The comments from Suzan Johnstone at the end sum it up nicely, "I'm against
it because it sets neighbour against neighbour"

Just wait till someone stops and gives them a good hiding with their speed
    gun

    Or runs them over.[1]

To be honest, anyone doing 41 in a village deserves to get nicked it
doesn't matter by whom. You know that villages are likely to have
cameras and during the winter they are a great little place to get
    some revenue.

  4. How long will it be before every villager will be armed with a free issue
hair dryer and a yellow jacket

"Villagers in Sussex are so exasperated by speeding motorists they are
    catching them themselves.
Sixty-nine-year-old Pearl raises her shooting arm, takes aim and pulls the
    trigger.
"Forty-one. Get him, Jean," she says. "
