Road shoulders have been graded today, dragging loose gravel, soil & rocks
onto some 60km/h advisory speed corners on the road approaching Upper
Beaconsfield from Emerald side. Section is in approx 3 corners into 80km/h
zone immediately after Victorian Equestrian Centre. No roadworks signs are
    present.

A mate of mine messed up a very tidy Honda CBX-6 there this afternoon after
failing to complete a lh curve and met a Mustang front coming the other way.
He walked, but has severe fractures & dislocations of right arm.

    Andrew,

I hope your mate is recovering and going to send the bill to the appropriate
road authority who left the road in a dangerous condition.

and nice corners they are. The best part of the trip to Emerald. So it must
have been just after the drizzle stopped. Too Bad.
