VFR800 Air Filter

    It's quite a hefty moulded plastic frame with little rubber feet (like
    you get on the bottom of a laptop), mounted to which is a nice silvery
    mesh, then a layer of perforated alloy and topped off with a red
    platisiced filter element.

    It's fecking *huge*, and very flat.

    Strange.

    Stick a K&N filter in, for a small increase in power, and you'll save
    money the second time you would have needed to replace the filter.
