VFR Servicing

    I have a 54 reg Honda VFR800 and its first two services were at
    the local Honda dealer, 4k and 8k, its now coming up to its 12k
    service, is this a major service or can I do it myself? I am ok
    spannering and not put off by it but if this service it needed something
    special doing then I might as well let the dealer do it.

    Any advice apart from getting rid of it, setting it on fire etc would
    be appreciated.

    Couldn't you JFGI? Or look in your handbook?

    It is the 16K service with the valve clearance check which is the
    bugger.
