    Hi,

I'm looking to buy one either a VFR or CBR 400, mainly for insurance
purposes. I haven't ridden a bike for a while and the quotes I'm getting
    for 600+cc are ridiculous.

Anyway, does anyone have any comments to make about either of these, I like
the CBR400RR and the VFR400 NC30. I'm obviously buying them second hand so
what should I be looking for to spot a bad one ? I've only bought bikes
from dealers before (after my 50cc and 125cc days that is :) )

    Cheers,

    Matt

  2. Buying from a dealer should give you some peace of mind but even then
there could be some nasties lurking in the wings to ruin your day.

Personally, if it doesn't rattle, bellow smoke, steers and stops
    straight, it's a goodun.

Matt Lemon was seen penning the following ode to ... whatever:
Do you also think you can manage to stop top posting and post at the
    bottom like everybody else?
