Verizon dropping tx.moto

Actually I am suggesting that Verizon sold me services which they are now
eliminating without making my monthly bill lower. Although their stated
reason for this is an agreement with NY on stopping child porn, another
unstated reason is that it would cut costs of hosting binaries.

Is tx.moto considered a binary newsgroup?

If images are restricted from the text only groups,
then why are the text only group(s) access being
    withdrawn?

Helpful Alex, thanks. Do you ride? Do you ride with Texans? Does your family
    approve?

Let's get together and visit some of these reprobates.

It's not part of the "Big-8" group of newsgroups.

    Here's a listing of the Big-8 (tx.moto isn't in them):
    http://tinyurl.com/5nvo6j
    or http://moleski.net/newsgroups/checkgroups/list.htm

tx.moto is in no danger, but access to tx.moto for Verizon customers is in
    danger.

That's my(rhetorical) point. Carriers have long wanted to
abandon usenet. This just provides an excuse to do so,
at least to a significant extent.
