    Verizon Clarifies Newsgroup Changes
As part of last week's anti-child-porn agreement with New York's Attorney
General, Time Warner Cable and Verizon agreed to take aim at newsgroups.
While Time Warner Cable confirmed to me they've eliminated newsgroup access
entirely, Verizon says they're simply limiting the newsgroups offered.
According to the company's policy blog, starting June 24, the telco will
"only offer groups in the Big 8 newsgroups hierarchies." While over 1,000
hierarchies exist, Verizon will only offer access to comp, humanities, misc,
news, rec, sci, soc, talk, and of course the Verizon support groups. Verizon
Business customers meanwhile will no longer have the ability to view
    newsgroup images.

WTF do you know about it? You Mexicans are always the first to yell foul
when we white Americans try to clean up Al Gore's internet. We as a country
of homosexual loving liberal democrats should stop the illegals from tying
up the airways with their kitty porn or kiddy porn or whatever the hell
Verizon is mad at. Best way to do that is still up in the air as Geraldo
points out, but I for one think that Dell and Viewsonic and Panafuckingsonic
and Sonic and HP, IP, and TP, and Sharp, Sony, and LG stop making monitors.
Without monitors, only audio porn would be possible and married couples and
others might have to go back to having sex instead of watching sex(like the
fucking greasers) and eventually it(the porn for you southerners who are too
stupid to follow this line) would just disappear like so many other evils,
ie: protecting personal property, personal rights, rights of consenting
adults in the privacy of their own homes and the right to sell liquor and
crack cocaine in close vicinity to public schools, the leading consumers of
    such items.

    When will we learn?

Send me a private email to hear more banter or to join the group
MAMMERY(mothers against monitors, mexicans, and every Republican Yahoo
Motherfucker. Guess that should be MAMMWEYMF. Could be shortened to MAM.
Or NOMOMONITORS or PIXELSTOP or REDUCEVISIBLEPORN or... naw that one is way
    too long.

Geraldo, I may have to come to Ho'sTown and kick your nitro riddled ass for
    that last dumb post.

Come to think of it, by Tuesday, it will be your last dumb ass post, at
    least on Verizon.

    What a country.

Guess we brought it on ourselves old friend. Least you're not involved in
any of this. WebTV is virtually untraceable.

    At least uninteresting.

Don't forget they do have our phone numbers and GPS tracking thanks to that
    asshole ED.

I feel my little world closing in.

May have to move to Mexico with Geraldo's family. They could never find us
    there.

    Howdy Wakko.
Y'all might have to do what I have to.
    http://groups.google.com/group/tx.motorcycles/topics

A lot of IPs are dropping newsgroups. I've had to resort to google
groups, since my old IP dropped tx.moto, over 6 months ago. This new
IP I now have, is "powered by google".
Our satellite service through WildBlue really sucks but I'm stuck with
it, as long as we're way out here in the boonies. I'll be glad when
we sell this farm and get back to the big, booming town of
    Breckenridge, where my "wireless" is.

Btw, we're hosting a cookout on July 6th. We'll start dishing out
food around 1:00 p.m., so you'll have to get here early. You & Mouse
(and anyone who'd like to) are welcome to ride out to our _Cisco
place_ and join us for hamburgers, hot dogs, beans, tater salad and
peach cobbler. Just bring you own drinks, unless you want tea or
    coffee.
We have lots of shade trees and plenty of parking space.
If you're interested in coming to the cookout, email me for directions
    to our new location.

Uh huh, you've been here before, so you know the Hwy is paved. And if
you can kick up dust on the driveway, you're going way too fast. Btw,
it's a whole lot easier to traverse than the last time you were here.

Re-certification means he has to take a test. Or is this a "see and
    no do" kinda deal?

I've always been told that "_practice_ makes perfect", "_use_ it or
    lose it", etc.

    ;)

I'd use Google as a last resort, but is you were interested in an inexpensive
option, you might try Newsguy. I used their trial account a while back and
upgraded to the Basic Newsguy plan. Last I checked they were offering a special
at their site for Verizon customers, and might be worth checking out.
