SWMBO is not a well bunny, after a nasty week at work. If anyone want's to
drop round here (about 10 mins from Dave's) there's some beers that were
    earmarked for the fest.

Probably June TBH, unless someone comes knocking. Bad for the waistline you
    see

Kind of. More now that my eating habits have changed so much, and it *is* a
habit, I just watch what I eat and manage to keep a relatively low
    calorific intake.

I learnt last year that it's perfectly possible to stick to low levels of
carbs and still put on weight if you *try* ;)

Currently I've lost 80 lbs in 2 years and 3 weeks. It may not sound that
fast but I've been *fat* since I was weaned. I mean that with all honesty.
I'm 35 now, and I look in the mirror with something of a feeling of shock.

Yeah, When I sit and think about it, it's a huge amount. Thing is, it all
started with a desire to go gliding (with UKRM) which needed to be <16st.
Plus I was getting slightly worried about carrying that much weight. I
hinestly thought that 16st would see me right. I'm down to 14st 4 now, and
very much aware that the medicos were right. I'm still overweight. My
only regret is that I didn't know about Atkins / low carb earlier. Still
water under the bridge and all that. Roll on 13st 7. Then I'll look
again. Gets costly though. My last suit lasted 6 months, and I've been
    through three (casual) leather jackets.
