Gotta have something here for the southeners to drink, although I think
you'll find they prefer to call it a lager top...

I really haven't got the hang of it at all have I..? Oh, I've just
finished your conversion, too. It's actually at a higher res, but half
the file size so it should stream from the CD without stuttering as the
player re-buffers like the DivX file did

    Lady Nina says...
Ok, you asked for this, so here goes...

I had two appointments all told, one on Tuesday and the other today.
Tuesday was with the Optometrist who gave me a right going over which
wasn't too bad. She says I have a problem woith both eyes, or rather
with the nerves on the outside of each one. Basically the nerves have
turned my eyes inwards, so I am slightly boss-eyed. I can't turn my eyes
out far enough, so I have to turn my head instead. The upshot of this is
I get the double vision. My right eye is worse than my left, so they
stuck the secondary prisms in my left as it's stronger and more able to
cope. Due to the TIA I have to go back in 2 months for more tests to see
if everything is stabilised. If they have then they will operate to
    correct things.

Today I had the numbing eye drops and things stuck on my eyeballs, which
was very weird. The surgeon who was doing the tests decided he could
only do so much as I had the TIA too soon ago to be able to determine
how much of the problem is due to that or what went on beforehand. Again
I have to wait another couple of months or until I've had my MRI scan
before he'll say yes to operating. As it is he might operate and then
things wll try to return to what passed for normal before the TIA,
because that has affected my eyesight a little.

All in all, I still haven't got a fucking clue what's happening. All I
know is that I desperately need a pair of shades for when I'm driving
and don't want to buy any prescription ones until I have my eyes sorted
because they are quoting me about 200 quid with the prescription I have.
    So what do I do?
