    wet clutch != hydraulic clutch
    dry clutch != cable clutch

    Wet/dry clutch refers to whether the clutch plates are immersed
    in oil or not.

    OIC, you're a bit mixed up;
    Dry clutch = clutch plate is dry and not immersed in oil.
    Wet clutch = clutch plates are in oil.
    Hydraulic clutch = dry/wet clutch operated by a hydraulic system.
    Cable clutch = dry/wet clutch operated by cable.

    Learn two things - the second being that you could wait and make sure
    that you understand a subject before you refer to someone else's
    "stupidity", notwithstanding the smiley.

    Er, a wet clutch is one where the clutch itself runs in engine oil.
    Most Jap bikes are like this. A dry clutch is one that doesn't and
    sounds like a bag of nails. Most Ducatis are like this.

    The method of engaging it is either hydraulic or cable and can be on
    either a wet or dry clutch.

    Absolutely. Those roads were my playground when I was a sprog of 17
    with a shiny new driving licence (only sullied by two endorsements
    gained by driving my first car whilst still 16) and a succession of
    more powerful and modified MKI Escorts. It were grand up there then,
    empty roads and plenty of bends over crests - and plunging
    compressions with humpback bridges in the middle of them. Queasy ...

    I'll let you have it when I'm finished. Promise I won't plug the tank

    The doorway is even better as it's remote control as well :)

    Yeah, I found some of those, but the roads were full of holes, covered
    in tractor mud, and obstructed by cages.

    Very much like being doon sooth really!

    Not at all, PlusNet have some server issues at the moment. The silly
    thing is I uploaded at 45k/s, and viewed the page at 8k/s.

    No, PlusNet have some problems. It would actually be faster for me to
    turn on web sharing on my Mac (Apache server is built in).
