Any disabled claimed zero VAT when buying a new scooter?

Scooter is already adapted for a wheelchair user?

    From the rules:
"You can only zero rate the supply of an adapted motor vehicle to a disabled
    wheelchair user."

If you need a wheelchair, would you either not be able to hold the
scooter upright very well, or just fall over?

  10. Using the patented Mavis Beacon "Hunt&Peck" Technique, Catman
And why not? Bonwick and Daz are supposedly able-bodied and neither of
them seem to be able to keep a bike upright.

Harsh but fair. Not like I've never just fallen off, either.

  12. I think the key word there is 'vehicle'. It doesn't exclude bikes,
scooters, tank transporters or road rollers.

    Eh?
    The keyword is NOT 'vehicle'
    The keyword is 'adapted'

  14. 'Adapted motor _vehicle_'. Not 'car' or 'van' or any other specific type
of motor vehicle, but simply 'vehicle'. Geddit?

Well, it could easily be construed that you did. You appear to have
great difficulty with expressing yourself in written English. Try
taking your time, considering your choice of words more carefully -
and using enough words to make your meaning clear.

Oh - and snip the signatures, eh?
