Valuation?

Been offered a 2000 (X reg) Honda Hornet 600 (unfaired), 20k miles, 1
owner for £1500. Two new tyres, *some* history and in reasonably good
condition (it's been on the floor a couple of times but nothing
major).

Seem like a good price?

But not on eBay - they don't let you sell human body parts.

 

Suspiciously so. I'd have SWK give it a very close once-over, and be
sure to do an HPI check on it as well.

 

I've known the bike since new. The owner is a friend of a friend. It's
been in the same family since new, and although as my OP says- it's
been put on the floor a couple of times but nothing major.

He just needs the cash quick to pay an urgent debt )
