Valuation please 1000 Exup

YAMAHA 1000 EXUP 1990 model.

a end can its a 1990 model. it has just over 20k on clock and runs a treat

whats this worth ish ?

If the EXUP is working and if it's in good original nick with no damage,
maybe a grand.

That'll be a "no" then...

 

Maybe even more than that, earlier on this year when we were looking for
an exup for the wife's 40th good original bikes were 1500+. Anything
around a grand were a bit of shed TBH.

Looks a bit like a Genesis akcherly.
If it had been an RU, for a grand, I'd have been tempted.

Blimey. If anything, I was being optimistic.

 

Your probably right , I was looking at asking prices rather than
completed. The EXUPs pre RU do seem to be the most sought after ones,
though I wouldn't mind a late foxeye model.

 

Nor would I. I'm amazed at how little money earlier ones go for though,
as you said, most were a bit frayed around the edges. Still, well under
a grand.... Plenty of room for improving the dodgy bits.

 

I wonder if it's still a virgin or has had the restrictors cut out of
the carb rubbers.
