    A good mate's selling his GSXR-1000 K3 13,000 miles in blue

No MOT no tax, but should fly through MOT no issues

Needs a new front tyre, but i would but two on anyway.

Serviced last year, whats the big service on a K3 thou?

The bike is mint, never crashed or damaged etc.

His Mum just died so he isnt in a mood to get it MOT, suffer the ebay cunts
    etc.

I am thinking about buying it for myself, not to run a profit etc, as it's
    just what I'm looking for....

Green plastic, but moving the goalposts now is a tad unfair.

I was thinking along those lines, it's mint, anyone got a clue what the
    'book' price is?

Cheers Chris, I reckon about £2650.00 then, with the tyres, mot & tax....

What!? Only 3/4 of a vocal quartet. I would demand the fourth one too.

We need a bidding war :)

BTW, i wonder how accurate the Parkers values are? There are a number of
online car price guides and the values vary wildly with Parkers
typically being towards the high end.

  13. I always thought Parkers was a crock of shite, actually. But I think
they're being a tad conservative here. Really good condition used bikes
are scarce and getting scarcer because the new sales started slumping a
    few years ago.

I reckon Hog's on the money at £3k - if it's really, really good.

I reckon Nige'll offer him £2250 as it needs MoT, tax and a pair of
    tyres.

  16. I'd offer two. I skipped the bit about the tyres, tax and ticket.

Oh, he is. They're all based on what he sold the last one for, but
he's got a shocking memory. If only he'd written them all down ...
he'd have quite a thick book.
