    Hi all,

I have recently put a set of Cobra drag pipes on my Valkyrie cruiser, it
seems to run really well, better than with the standard pipes. Should
I re-jet the carbies or not?

There is not muck backfiring on decelleration, just a burble (LOUD) and
a few minor pops and crackles here and there.

I live in Canberra (alt. 600 metres) if that is a consideration. Is it
harmful to the engine to not re-jet?

The pipes sound great but VERY loud, I would difinitely need earplugs
    for any substantial ride.

    Thanks in advance,

    Dave

  2. If the bike is running well, and you're ahppy with the
performance I'd be inclined to give the bike a good, long
run on a clean set of spark plugs and check the condition of
the plugs at the end to see if your running too rich/lean.
Also take a look at your fuel consumption before making any
    decisions.

This thing is bloody huge... so is my bike!
