Back from the MotoGP. Some thoughts about it.... Here is your spoiler space. * Great atmosphere with 120,000+ fans, not so great getting out of the circuit. * The locals clearly like Héctor Bárbera. He rocks. * The locals clearly adore Dani Pedrosa. He double rocks. * The locals clearly want Sete Gibernau to do well. He doesn't rock, and the fans leave early. * There are still lots of Rossi fans though, coz he, well, rocks. * One solitary Brit (ahem) gets up and shouts "C'mon Chaz!" as he slips underneath Robbie Rolfo for 6th or 7th at the end of the back straight. * Spanish newspapers have awesome coverage of the previous day's events. Very handy for finding out things like Chaz gets 5th because of Aoyama's bike being underweight. * The MotoGP bikes are louder than the tannoy system. * The toll road from Barclona to Valencia hurts the wallet. It was about 25 Euros each way. Nice road though. * Oh, and I "met" Shinya Nakano, which was nice.
