Denis & Denise Scott, whom many of you will know as the parents of 125 racer
Candy, were involved in a roadbike accident last week in which both were
    fatally injured.

Their funeral will be held at 2:30pm this Thursday, 27 November at Palmdale
near Ourimbah, NSW, and will be followed by a gathering of friends at
Mangrove Mountain Golf Club & RSL.

Please come if you can, or feel free to send flowers either to Palmdale or
881 Wiseman's Ferry Road, Mangrove Mountain NSW. Or drop a note to this
    address, or via GPRiders.

Denis & Denise were the kind of hardworking, generous people who give the
motorcycling community a good name. They were actively involved in both dirt
track & road racing and will be sadly, sadly missed by friends old & new.

Their values live on in their children Greg, Candy & Glenn, three amazing
people whose strength & grace are an inspiration to everyone who knows them.

    Hi Daron, Brenda

This is terribly, terribly sad news.

Lucy and I only met Candy for the first time at the recent BEARS race, and
to hear this tragic news is very upsetting.

    Our most heartfelt condolences.

It's always a shame when something like this happens. The only bright point is i guess
they were doing something they loved[1] when the unfortunate happened.

[1] I never met them, but from their daughter being in racing, im guessing that they loved
    bikes.

That's dreadful news, Daron (as I'm sure you're well aware!)
I wandered through the "pits" at Stanthorpe when Candy was racing a
supermono but I'm ashamed to admit that my eyes were on Candy and I didn't
    pay attention to her support-crew.
    May they rest in peace.
