Vacuum valve on Kreihin carb?

    CB450 Honda

    I don't understand this device. Does it only work with the auto shutoff
    fuel taps found on some bikes? ...seems this device.. which may not be
    working is causing ALL the gas to flow out into
    #2 carb down the throat either into the filter box or engine even if
    the FLOATS are UP closing the flow of gas

    ...What goes here? Is there a secret passage? Is there a crack in the
    carb body in #1 which has the fuel inlet? .. There is a breather hole
    ... just in front of the inlet

    The vacuum valve is difficult to fathom .. 'cuz it is sooo tight that I
    don't see how it can work at all

    Maybe these carbs are not from this engine but later versions ... hard
    to say since I am not the owner ..just working on it

    Please I want this problem out of my shop
