You want a Mityvac, available from M&P (Part No. 533338) and Hein
Gericke for about £40 and it's an excellent piece of kit for brake &
    clutch bleeding.

Why not use these instead - got to be better if you're
    thinking of the race machine...

I was given to understand that Champ was some sort of power tool enthusiast
and also it might spare his arthritic old wrists.

Hmmm. Interesting. I've KAD calipers, so I dunno what size to fit.
    Theoretically a great idea tho.

The guys on the DSC site swear by them - the rear brake on
the 916-style suffers from poor design in that it goes weak
after a very short time ... probably due to the proximity of
the hot engine or something similar.

It's common to bleed it often if you bother using the back
brake, so this makes it very easy indeed, I'm told.

Might be worth checking with KAD or even measuring a hose
    for the correct size?

They certainly look like a good idea.
I've got a pair of spare calipers, so could pull a bleed nipple out
    and measure it easily enough.

I've got speedbleeders fitted, they make it a doddle to bleed brakes. Just
loosen a bit and keep squeezing the lever, easy.
I also have a Mityvac. The Mityvac is good for refilling the system when
it's empty, as it just sucks the fluid down. Speedbleeders don't do that.

With the Mityvac, you have to be careful not to use too much suction, or
you draw air past the threads of the bleed nipples. It's better if you put
some heavy grease on the threads to prevent this.

I have this problem with the compressor driven bleeder.

    be in A&E.
