Repacked the exhausts - sounds much better now,
    Quieter until opened up !
Popping on left side - carbie leak ?
    or balance required ?

Thanks for repack help - ended up using ceramic fibre.

Check the header pipe and muffler to header connections.

I find that using silicone sealant - sold for windscreeen sealing - on
the header to muffler joint seals well and makes it much easier to get
    the two apart.

It may be ignition. If you don't have electronic, get it! V50s *need*
    electronic ignition...

  3. Excellent advice. Could also be caused by running a bit lean on the
    offending side.

It's the bit where you put the key in, Rex.
