Looking at a 125 hack for the winter "proper" bike but the guy has no V5,
how much of a risk is this, ie whats the risk if i buy without one?

Given that DVLA seem to have an average turn round time of less than a week
these days on V5s (and 2 at most), if you *really* want it then he'll be
able to get the docs in 14 days and *prove* it is what it says it is.

If he can't or won't, note the ****'s address and burn his fucking house
down next time you're passing..... Then again it prolly isn't his house
either so wait *3* weeks and then take a ukrm "Hello Thieving ****" welcome
team with you when you go to "Definitely buy" it... :)

    Wot the Wavy bloke said.

Don't touch it, Paul. Don't believe a word he says, no matter how
convincing he is or tries to be.

He can get a V5 soon enough if he really has title to the bike, so
    bide yer time.

Also, having had a V5 through the post recently, I was reading the gumph
    that came with it.

DVLA are now stating that you will not be able to tax a vehicle if you
don't have their reminder form or the V5. As the former goes to the
registered keeper, you'd be screwed for tax.

I don't think I'll be happy until I've owned every MZ on the fucking
    planet.

    [1] but you said up there ^^^ its a 125 . . . ?
