Well once again Bill it seems you are the one who is lying. I have
made no claims or assumptions regarding your riding habits. On the
contrary I was following up on comments you have made on the subject.
Since you joined Reeky you have posted the following comments, among
others, implying you are a serious rider:

    ******Begin Quote******
    ******End Quote******

When I inquired about your riding habits you replied:
    ******Begin Quote******
    ******End Quote******

OK now you have stated you typically ride 1500 mile weekends and only
lose a couple of weeks a year. Damn I am impressed and thinking this
Dood does ride. But being the cynical suspicious sort I am I thought
I might look to see if you took the time away from your computer for
any of those 1500 mile weekends. Much to my surprise I see that in
the last four months you have not been away from your computer long
enough to log a 1500 mile weekend.

When it was pointed out that you were glued to your computer for every
weekend except for one in the last four months your response was"
    ******Begin Quote******
    ******End Quote******
Weekend was your word not mine. You can play Clintonesque games with
the word weekend if you wish but the record shows you have only been
away from your computer once in the last four months for a period of
    two days. Weekend or not.

Of course once you were caught in the lie, more wiggling started:
    ******Begin Quote******
    ******End Quote******
I am guessing in your mind that wasn't a lie because the statement was
not made to me but to another poster. Interesting distinction there
Bill and might be a sign of a pathology

Then you offered another statement that was easily proven to be a lie:
    ******Begin Quote******
    ******End Quote******
No chance of this one being true. You were only away from your
computer for three days in September and those days were not
consecutive. Damn you sure stepped in it there.

Once you realized there was no way out of the web of deceit you had
spun you admitted you do not typically ride 1500 mile weekends only
losing a couple of weeks a year.
    ******Begin Quote******
    ******End Quote******
According to Mapquest that is a little over 200 miles and about 3-1/2
hours. A long way from your typical 1500 mile weekends.

So basically your riding claims are shown to be bullshit. Those are
all your words. I didn't make them up. Please note I have not claimed
you do not ride only that the boasts you have made are fabrications.

You got busted up here pretty bad yesterday. I would suggest as you
continue your flame fest you stick to the derogatory comments, name
calling and trash talking. The record shows over the past four months
you have spent more time doing that than riding.

Yep.. since sometime in September.. speedo.. All that desperation is
beginning to show in your frantic little responses.. Matter of fact.. you
seem to be getting into the familiar pattern that most posers use.. "running
    in circles".. LMAO..

LMAO.. he's been snowed in, JailCall.. they've got about four months or so
that they can ride up there..
He's making some kind of plans to come to Texas later this year with some of
the bro's .. Even promised to drop by Irving..I posted my home address, so
him and his couple of friends wouldn't miss me, since they will gather just
    a few miles from Irving..
Whew.. that's the understatement of the year.. Didn't realize you are such a
gentleman.. I haven't been so kindly on the reeky newsgroup..
As quick as he backed out on his little veiled threat to come see me.. I'm
not going to hold my breath.. This dude has already spent his money..

  5. <>?<>Actually Bill you stated these big miles were done on weekends.
Those were not my words they were yours. Were you lying then or lying
now. Hard to have it both ways Pard..
By the way the "I did all my riding on weekdays" doesn't pass the giggle
test either because you were consistently married to your keyboard on
    weekdays too.
Bottom line is the only time you had to log those big miles was between
midnight and six AM, which makes sense because clearly those rides were
    in your dreams.
    This is too easy..lol

Now, Don Binns, you know we Bikers are kinda like ''fisherMen"'......I
don't doubt BW, has rode a 1500 WkEnder. No doubt in my mind. I havent!,
But have done a hard ass, ''ride'' on a weekend. It might have been, a
472 miler one, but when I got home, I was tired enough that it should
have been a 500 one. So, I said it was a 600 one. If you havent
embellished a motorcycle ride, in any way, to someone, thennnn, you can
kiss my grits. (grin)....I have done it in Golf, Fishing and Bowling. I
am an honest ol; Bowie county Fartsmeller.>>> It could be, that BW has
rode a 1388 miler, and by the time he told it a few times, it grew to a
1500 miler one. Who gives a flying fungus, if it's off, a mile or two!!
I'LL tell you who?----me, and some of the regulars in this tx.moto.nG!
Ohhhhhhh, it just struct me, Don, you have to member that ''we, Texacans
    are reknown'' for such.!!!!..(braggin')

LOL... don't know much about Texas .. do you wormy ? Most of us ride,
pretty much every week, every day.. We ride to run errands and all that good
stuff.. The boys working "real" jobs which make up the majority, ride on
weekends.. That's real confusing to posers who don't get out much.. I
understand.. Yeah.. I'll take off for a week or three, now and then.. four
or five times a year.. Still don't get it.. do you .. speedo? I
understand.. During those times when I take off like that.. I'll show up
most anywhere.. west coast .. points in between and several hundred miles
    south of the border..

Kinda like your bud, John Moran.. you keep ignoring or missing the part that
I said September was the last little ride that I did.. to Elgin, Tx. Damn..
speedo.. You are going to wear out those maps of yours, just trying to keep
track of me.. Ah well.. you've still got a few months to go, before the snow
melts enough for you to get out..

Hey .. sport.. you've and your little poser friends that's planning that
reunion at PK down here in Texas.. have been invited to ride..Take a day off
from your little tea party and we'll sure put you on some roads down here ..
Now .. sport.. this is a good time for you to put up or STFU.. The threats
don't cut it.. and you've already stepped in shit..

Top Post.. just cause I'm getting bored with this little lame fuckers phony
    bullshit..

How in the hell did a half dozen of you obviously counterfeit assholes ever
manage to hijack a newsgroup like reeky and intimidate anyone.?. You stupid
little wannabe and posing turds can't even read or respond with any
    responsible credibility..

You cross post into other newsgroups with your little cliche and start
flaming.. The target on that other group responds to your silly shit by
subscribing to your base group .. Silly little shitheads like you try to do
some veiled threats to intimidate and they get deflated real quick when you
are looking at a verifiable address .. All you've done since then is weasel
around and piss yourself.. You've announced to the entire group that you
intend to be in Texas this summer.. WTF is your problem.. you've been
invited.. welcome.. Still pissing yourself.. huh.. sport.. Truth is you are
a pathetic little asswipe wannabe, with snot running down your face..

Obviously.. you are still pissing yourself.. You just might not ever recover
the monopoly on this newsgroup that you had before.. Think about it..
Everyone on this group has seen a seventy year old, rake your ass for almost
a week, now.. They don't have to put up with this shit from you and your
little clown friends..anymore.. Especially with me subscribing to this
    newsgroup, now..

Texans and Albertan have more in common than some might want to admit.

You are quite correct embellishment of our motorcycle rides is as
common as how that one that got away from the fisherman seems to get
bigger as the years go by. Seems we might apply the same principal to
certain parts of the male anatomy too, but let's leave that discussion
    for another day.

Where I took exception to Bill's embellishment was he clearly stated
the 1500 mile weekends were typical and they only lose a couple of
weeks a year to the weather. His statements were made in an attempt
to garner some kind of status or respectability from the new group he
was trying to impress. While I have no doubt Bill has probably done a
1500 mile ride, be it on a weekend or not, however his statements
these rides are typical and happen often was clearly untrue.

To extend the metaphor of the rider and the fisherman, when
embellishment crosses the line to blatant bullshit, the perpetrator
will get called on it. That's all I did with Bill, was call him on
the bullshit and let him know he crossed a line. I would do it here
in USENET as I would if we were sitting in a bar enjoying a cold one.
Maybe I rubbed his nose in it a little more than I should have, but he
has been dishing out a rash of shit and I figured he could take it
without curling up into the fetal position and whining like a little
    child.

    I was wrong.

For what it is worth I appreciate the non-confrontational style of
your post. We could use more of that.

    <>'Happy Trails to You'>>>BJAY>>>

In the younger and working years.. quite a few of us would leave the
metroplex on Friday afternoon.. Run the hill country and the Border.. by the
time we'd get home on Sunday afternoon, we'd have way more than 1500 miles
on those motorcycles.. hmmm.. Don't do that much anymore, but some of the
younger ones still hammer those runs..

During those same years.. I've soloed overnight from Garland to Los
Angelos..Leave at eight in the morning and arrive between four and five
following morning.. then take a little nap and pull a days work on the job..
Don't do that much anymore, either..

LOL.. still make some good rides, but I don't push it like I used to.. I
leave when I have time to do the run.. Take my time and come back when I'm
    ready for the trip..

The wannabe LD riders don't get it.. These guys think they've invented
something and try to impress each other..

No, where you were wrong was outright lying and saying there haven't been
any single instances where there's been two days of not posting by Bill
Walker in the past four months. That was a lie. I called you on it and even
posted the links. That's where you were wrong. You even tried to stretch
some weird Canadian calendar math on us trying to make November four months
    away.

And FWIW, they are typical and do happen often. Not every weekend like you'd
like to project, but often and typical. I can do 250 miles and never leave
Dallas line. I can do 400 miles and just go the next county over and back. I
can do 500 easy and just go to Texarkana and back in a few hours. I can do
250 just to head to Sulphur Springs and buy some clothes...then back again.
I've done 600 miles to ride to Austin for lunch and back. We don't ride 1500
miles every weekend...never claimed by myself or Bill Walker.
