Yeah, We prefer riding to being nasty to people on motorcycle
    newsgroups. <G>

Do mean to tell us that those "mean ol' Walkers" tracked you down on another
newsgroup and just maliciously attacked you... Sheesh the very idea.. BTW..
you might notice that this is tx.motorcycle newsgroup and not an
international forum like the ones you are accustomed to.. hmmm.. little bit
off your range, aren't you .. sport.. ??considering the lecture you just
tried to hand me on the reeky group..

Use your mouse.. speedo.. or stop whining about someone being "nasty" .. I
thought it was real "nasty" when the crew from reeky came hunting the
    Walkers in tx.motorcycles...

Wait a minute, wasn't it this NZMSC dude who commenced with the crossposting
    in the first place?

    <tick><tock>

Yup, looking back, it was him.

Speaking of "backyards", it would be nice if they'd keep their own in
    their's.

Speaking of "backyard", what exactly does New Zealand have to do with Texas?

Sorta like the burglar who breaks into a home and gets shot...then screaming
    that he's gonna sue!

Oh.. I don't know.. about that.. LOL .. I been over there playing in their
backyard for most of this week.. check my report, this morning..

The crew that invaded tx.motorcycles, got real quiet.. One guy was claiming
he rode Oahu.. (that's a pacific island of Hawaii).. some extravagant claim
of a lot miles in a few hours.. on an island the size of a postage stamp..
<chuckle>.. Couldn't count all the circles he was running in and got so
dizzy, he had to give up.. or something.. Never did figure out where he got
the motorcycle to do all that stuff.. And he wouldn't say, when he was asked
    the question..

Then .. when I decided to throw a party, invite all the players in our
latest flame war, posted my home address and offered a $500.00 reward to the
one who brought John Moran with him.. everybody got real quiet.. One of
those players tried to bluster a bit, posted something about "exit speech"..
LOL.. Somebody pointed out that rather than an "exit speech" I'd made,
sounded more like I was inviting them all to a party where I owned 45 acres
and had a good backhoe.. "he needs to be careful".. That comment seemed to
shut the cross posters down pretty good and ol' John Moran had already
disappeared anyway, when the reward for him, hit the fan..

It's been fun..Thoroughly enjoyed my week.. Have a good one..

Sheesh .. Biff.. keep up.. It was titled "Announcement".. I deleted an
entire post and the tx.motorcycle newsgroup from the header..

LOL.. In other words .. I hijacked someone's post in order to insert it in
the middle of the "jackie wants a ride" thread..

    Have a good one..

I'm sure that, somewhere, there is intelligence in that
    statement.

However,I've never been anywhere near Texas (and having
encountered you two, never will. You are not exactly great
    advertisments for your home state).

I do not read tx.motorcycles, not the least because your
    reputation has preceded you.

I read rec.motorcycles because it is an international motorcycle
newsgroup and on this newsgroup, once the worst posters are
killfiled, there is a lot of valuable material.

Whether or not the terrible twins of Bill and Brian Walker ever
break the mould and make sensible postings will now be
immaterial to me as you are about to both go into my killfile.

    Goodbye.

I am curious Bill, how often do these typical weekend rides happen.
You imply that you ride a lot and log a lot of miles so I assume these
typical weekend runs happen quite often.

I ride quite a bit.. Posted a report of one run on reeky..This year.. I've
made several fairly LD runs..The weather has been pretty lousy.. this year..
but Texas bikers run anyway.. Usually we'll only lose a couple of weeks out
of the year... Some of the tougher ones ride anyway.. I done got too old for
that shit and I'm not near as tough as I used to be..

2004 has been a good year for me and the Green Vulcan has had some hard
pounding on it..Lots of miles..Texas.. New Mexico.. Arizona and California..
Does Mexico count ? yeah.. I'll include it.. DFW to Houston to Galveston..
Couple of trips to Austin.. one to Van Horn to hook up with a bro.. Back and
forth to Texarkana a coupla' times.. Then there's always the day to day
    errand running in DFW..

I'd say for an old timer.. I scald a motorcycle pretty good..wouldn't you ..
    speedo ?

Well there is a disconnect here Bill. 1500 miles usually implies a
couple of days and that is consistent with the definition of a weekend
but when I did a quick Google of your posting proficiency I discovered
going back to early Sept of last year not a weekend went by without
multiple post from you on USENET.

Now you have already stated you are not computer literate so I
wouldn't think you travel with a laptop equipped with a wireless
network card, all the while managing to stay in hot spots, so how do
you fit in all of these 1500 mile weekends, only losing a couple of
weeks a year and still manage to post everyday on USENET?

LMAO... etc. etc.. Sounds like your computer research expertise isn't much
    better than mine..

    You are absolutely right.. though..I don't carry a laptop.. and I don't

That's pretty good deduction you have going there. It would be fantastic
except for one problem with it...he's retired!

That would mean that his weekends aren't always Saturday and Sunday. And
yes, he's been in BC, Jalisco and Arizona and New Mexico several times in
    2004 on that Green Vulcan.

Next time you want to deduct someone into being a liar, try getting the
    entire picture first.

    Never claimed to be.
You did when you started a crossposted thread.
    Here's another one. I don't read rec.motorcycles. I don't care about
anything/anyone there. You can simply avoid your "killfile" threat and just
    stay out of tx.motorcycles.
Whoops! Too late! Got the killfile going again.
    And good riddance.

Actually Bill you stated these big miles were done on weekends. Those
were not my words they were yours. Were you lying then or lying now.
Hard to have it both ways Pard..

By the way the "I did all my riding on weekdays" doesn't pass the
giggle test either because you were consistently married to your
    keyboard on weekdays too.

Bottom line is the only time you had to log those big miles was
between midnight and six AM, which makes sense because clearly those
    rides were in your dreams.

    This is too easy..lol
