    X-No-archive: yes
Went through Calgary a few years back myself. I was surprised at how
much it reminded me of the central planes of the US (KS, OK, eastern
    CO, etc.)

Nice people who thought that Penny Lane was right off the highway on
the way out of town. By the time I was done, the other guys were ready
to shoot me for taking them so long to get through the construction
and 1-way streets. I saw why they didn't want us bringing guns across
    the border. :)

You mean you folks get lost in Calgary?

No wonder you're not getting out! It's not the weather, you're just afraid
you won't find your way back home...and it's hard to drop breadcrumbs while
    riding a motorcycle through snow.

    Function: adjective
Etymology: Middle English, short for awayward turned away, from away,
    adverb + -ward
1 : following one's own capricious, wanton, or depraved inclinations :
    UNGOVERNABLE
2 : following no clear principle or law : UNPREDICTABLE
3 : opposite to what is desired or expected : UNTOWARD

That was the photo from about a year ago (during the waltz-across-texas
dispute) that started the whole arguement. I supported Bill and tried to
prove that Bill was the one "on top" but I got out of the dispute when it
    got nasty.

  17. Hey, Bjay!

I can understand your confusion, but the explanation is pretty
simple, really. At the time that Bill was dissing Stephen and making
fun of his report of riding a SaddleSore 1000 on the island of Oahu,
Hawaii (in this thread) and claiming that Stephen was not credible in
making such a claim, there was no proof of the claim on the Ironbutt
Association's webpage that certifies SaddleSore 1000 rides. They
update the site approximately every two months:

    "Certified IBA Ride Finishers: Someone
claim they completed an Iron Butt ride?
This is the list to check! NOTE: Due to
    verification, this list is approximately
60 days behind any given ride date. Last
update: March 9, 2005 for rides through
    January 31, 2005."

So, it simply took from January, when Bill claimed Stephen was a
liar, until March 9 (when the IBA updated their website with January,
2005 certified rides) for the proof that Bill was wrong to become
    available to this thread.

Nice to have closure on a thread, isn't it?

I remember some of wha-cher saying.
I didn't absorb much of any of that, at the time you have recorded. It
didn't interest me, that much. ----For one thing, the thread got way too
Long, for my WTV to comprehend. (I'm kidding,)As far as closure? In a NG, there's really ''closures'' ??? I hate to
tell ya, but there's no such thing as any person ever having the last
    say. haha, grin.....bjay
