    While it's a UK group, there are plenty of posters who live/work in
    Europe or the Far East, and I think a few peeps from Oz/New Zealand
    and IIRC Canada.

    But I know nothing.

    That's about the best analogy of UKRM I have heard ever.

    It's the same one I always hear. Can't we have one with spaceships and
    dinosaurs?

    UKRM is like a spaceship built by dinosaurs; there's very little chance of
    it working properly, you've got to wonder why they bothered in the first
    place and if you enter it you're likely to get trodden on, eaten or, at the
    very least, shat on from a great height.

    How's that for a first draft?

    OK. Umm... UKRM is like a spaceship because there aren't any dinosaurs.

    <thinks>

    No.

    Ooh! Ooh! I know. UKRM is like a spaceship because there aren't many
    dinosaurs. Except Ace. And Phil L[1]. And some other people.

    <beatific smile>

    There.

    [1] But only in a musical sense because he doesn't believe in them.

    UK. We don't like Americans much cos they have better weather and
    cheaper bikes.
    This newsgroup really isn't about bikes, just people who ride bikes
    chatting away. There are way better sources of info if you want bike
    news or technical stuff.
