    (another AP article)
    US soldiers fired on a civilian vehicle Monday because they feared it
    might hold a suicide bomber, killng at lteast two adults and a child
    northwest of the capital.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Our American soldiers fired on the vehicle because it was moving
    erratically outside a US Base in Baquouba, 35 miles from Baghdad, said
    major Stven Warren a US spokesman. He commented ‘‘ it was one of
    those regrettable tragic incidents’’!
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    An Iragi Dr. Ahmed Fouad, at the city morgue and police officials gave a
    higher death toll, saying five were killed, including 3 kids. They said
    the vehicle was driving home from a funeral.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    The shooting took place in a province that has experienced at least four
    major suicide vehicle bombings in the last 3 weeks, including a car bomb
    that near missed a US vehicle, but did blow up five civilians in the
    very same area.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    (footnote: although tragic, that is part of it.
    Our troops are there and doing their best to sort out who is the bad guy
    and who is the good guy, consequently, they all look the same to me. I
    bet they do to our military as well. I say when in doubt shoot their
    asses.(BJAY)!

    Very much like officer assisted suicide here in the states.... (You wanna
    die, but don't have the guts to pull the trigger.... go point a gun at a cop
    and he'll take care of the rest)

    It is not just cops, I tend to have the same attitude if someone points a
    gun at me.. Not too interested in debating why they are doing it, just in
    resolving the issue quickly and in my favor..
