Can anyone recommend a UK bike insurer who will cover a USA resident/licence
holder who also has residence in the UK for a bike to be kept in England?

They do not want to swap their licence for a UK model.

Carole Nash insured our US friends on my bikes when they were here for
a holiday, so it's as good a place to start as any.

I have a multibike policy, don't you? I understand you cannot add riders?

Well, both The Doctor and I are insured to ride all the classics in
the Chateau's garage, and they're insured on one policy. And CN
covered our US friends, like I said.

    *Shrug*.

My friend had a US licence for years and had no problem getting insured in
the UK, she's got her UK car and bike licence now and there was no
    difference in the policy.
