I must say that anyone who hasn't yet compared the coverage of racing in
the US vs. UK's is in for a surprise. I blush to confess, it wasn't until
last weekend I realized how puny the Speed Channel (formerly Speed Vision)
is compared to the UK equal. The Speed Channel is a complete rip-off
compared to what's broadcasted in the UK (and perhaps the rest of
Europe?). This I realized after a scandinavian friend of mine recently
returned with a tape of the Brands Hatch WSB race -- a race we've seen
here in the US long ago. Well, well, watching that tape was like watching
a different race altogether -- it had no commercials whatsoever, it
included an in-depth history about the track and its racing, and even
showed Suzi Perry (her entire body!!) I'm sorry, but seeing this got me
    homesick for Europe.
