Cleaning a YZ's foam air filter.

Blue, sticky, mucky, oily gunge everywhere.

I'm struggling to think of any job that's worse. Fork leg oil changes
    come close.

Can't you just stick it in the dishwasher?

Watch out for an Spanish KH7 "grease remover" [1].

It works wonders on engine oil [2].

[1] A need in an oily kitchen country, where it managed to get 60% of market
    share.
[2] And I have an EXUP engine.

Heh. Never occurred to me, actually.

Probably just as well; I don't think I could stand the whingeing with
extreme prejudice, or the inopportune reminders well into the next
    decade either.

That's bad, but believe me, it's a whole order of magnitude more fun
    than that ruddy filter.

You mean you've been reading uk.r.m. for ... more than a few years ...
and you've never come across the dishwasher?

    I'm disappointed.

Oh, I've come across it (in a manner of speaking) but, you see, I'm a
    coward.

    You want a little tray.

    Fill with petrol.

    Put filter in.

    Squidge to your hearts delight.

    Clean filter.

Dirty petrol, ideal for pouring over wasps/ants nests and setting alight.

That's pretty much what I did in initially, then degreaser etc.

The (now blue) petrol has joined the other shit in a nold red petrol
    can.

The opposite if you apply the product directly on them.

A lot if you clean their kitchen.

This was a public service message.

The petrol didn't dissolve the oil/grease? What the feck is it made of?

I'd just bin it and buy a new one. The skin on my hands is worth more than
    £15 or whatever it costs.
Works great in strimmers too. A bit more smokey though :)

Yes, but after the introduction of hydrocarbons it doesn't always grow back
    in the right place...

  20. Head races, for me. Not the hunge or dirt, as there's not much of that,
    but just am immense arse-ache.
