    Translation: "good, man-woman."

Not surprisingly, most of TOG's girlfriends know Polari, the secret
    language of faggots.

And not surprisingly, apparently you do as well. What
obvious conclusion do we draw from this, class?

All I can recall from my Canadian education is hockey,
beer and a lot of guys with French names.

My vocabulary grows through reading this forum.

Formerly I would have thought "Polari" meant "North Stars"
(as if there were more than one of them) or some kind of
    ballistic missiles.

However turns out it isn't exclusively the "secret language
of faggots", it's also used in Britain by actors, carnival
    people et altera.

  12. But prefer not to acknowledge the fact, to make yourself appear more
    learned?

  13. There was a 1950s/60s radio show here called 'Round the Horne', a number
of whose participants were gay, and Polari was used extensively, to the
secret amusement of the show producers, who reckoned (correctly) that
the upper echelons of the BBC would not know what was being said.

The general public just thought that phrases like 'How bona to vada your
dolly old eek' were just some catchphrases dreamed up for the occasion.

In short: they got away with it.

Natch. But Krusty thinks they're all queers too, you see.

In fact, Krusty thinks that *everyone* is queer except for himself and
    Fred Phelps.

And he's not too sure about Fred.

Whatever you're pulling on, pull on it in a locked room with drawn
    shades.

And, please wash your hands before you pound your keyboard.

And you immediately giggled at said dialogue, knowing exactly what it
meant without having to google for it, didn't you, omi-palone?
