    "Bikers to celebrate pub's reopening

Hundreds of bikers are expected to turn out at a Shropshire pub tonight
to celebrate their victory after it won back its licence. The Wheel at
Worfield reopened to the public yesterday.
The pub was closed by police nearly two weeks ago amid fears over public
    safety.
Landlady Gloria Goodson won back her licence at a court hearing on
Monday, but must now obey a set of stringent conditions - including
limiting the number of motorcycles at the premises to 750 and employing
parking stewards - to prevent being shut down again.
The gatherings, which attract hundreds of bikers every Wednesday, have
taken place for the past nine years.
Mrs Goodson says she is confident she will have all the conditions in
place ahead of the celebratory meet but fears the new rules could cause
    chaos on the roads.
"If bikers cannot come to The Wheel they may resort to just riding up
and down the road which is what the police do not want," she said"

    Just got back from there.
All very polite and well mannered and not a copper in sight.
From a quick guesstimate I'd say about 600 bikes there at any one time and
if they tried to get more than 750 on there it would be pretty packed and
hard to get on and off anyway.

Don't you believe it, West Mercia Police State have un-marked bikes there
every week One is usually parked on a driveway at end of the village on the
right if your heading towards Bridgenorth.

There has never been any trouble of any sort at the Wheel in all the time
bikers have been meeting there, the only thing I can think of for the close
down is that some one must have parked on a local councillors drive blocking
    them in.

How long is it before the Bridgenorth Cafe on the Kidderminster Road gets
similar treatment, as it is usually being monitored by the spy in the sky.

West Mercia Police really need to rethink it's attitude not just to bikers
but to the public in general, especially in Kidderminster.

BTW. Did you used to have a Z1R in about 1980?

Don't be - it captures the era really well. The finishing touch being
the Austin 1100 in the background.

    Champ fumbled, fiddled and fingered:
Thing is a new Z1R would still be a usable good bike even now, whereas
an Austin 1100 was always shite :)

Well I didn't spot anyway , anyway , but I was sticking to limits for fairly
    obvious reasons.
