And we were grateful for it.

Oh, and we were allowed to speed and ride our bikes pissed too.

Combine the two, and ... oh my god. I don't know how Cane manages it.

Cor dunnit. When My Baby got her CG and I borrowed it for a few days to
bang up and down to London it was among the most scary rides I have ever
had. No acceleration in a traffic full environment is a fucking issue.

I shan't be riding anything as small as that ever again.

To the best of my knowledge, and my eternal relief, this is a feeling

Elly's FZ400 rat-bike wears the original exhaust off Toseland's first
ever race CB500. It was taken off a new bike when a race can was fitted
and lobbed in a box, from where I managed to liberate it.

    Does it look fast?

Not so much fast - as odd, really. The Rat is a strange little
critter, and was possessed of a strangely polyphonic howl as it
disappeared up the road. It certainly didn't hang about once the revs
were up and the pilot was intent on pushing on a bit; but it has been
a bit quiet and slow since the conrod knocked a bit of crankcase out.

It'll look a **** sight faster with a CBR600 motor in it, though.

Forget the full on race bike, that's Godlike. I so wish I could do
    something like that.
