Update on Ride to Bjay

This is to notify all the participants involved in the "Ride to Bjay"
adventure this week, that this ride may have to be cancelled..

The word filtering back from the many contacts in Bowie County
has been discouraging.. to say the least.. Coming from the gas
station attendant at the Fina station.. "Bjay came by late last night..
he seemed to be in a panic state, and after purchasing ten dollars
worth of gas, he sped off.. His wife, dog and what was presumed
to be Kroger sacks full of clothes, were haphazardly strew in the
back of his vehicle.. Bjay seemed to be heading in the direction of
the State Line".. <endquote>

Other reports indicate the information to be accurate and Dan Beas-
eley is reporting that "as we approached the driveway of his house,
alarms and lights glared, lighting up the entire neighborhood, causing
hysterical reactions, amongst many of the neighbors" <endquote>

Considering all this bizarre and unusual behavior from Bjay, it can
only be resolved that he is despondent over his recent performance
as "Ratings Monitor" and can't bring himself to face the friends who
he so grieviously let down..

It is a given that Big Ed, RedShad, Louie, Jerry, Wakko and Brian
are already packed and eager to make the ride to Texarkana, to
spend a few days enjoying the Bowie County hospitality of Bjay..
There's probably several more of the tx.motorcycle newsgroup
riders who were also looking forward to this ride.. Even Gary
Walker has been seriously considering going outside his zip code..

While I am sure there will be intense disappointment at this turn of
events, I'm afraid the Ride to Bjays' will have to be temporarily
delayed.. Future plans for the ride are pending and if anyone inter-
ested will stayed tuned to this channel.. the station will provide any
updates that may change .. Thank you for your support..

Actually, this is good news, because I couldn't have come down this
weekend due to my daughter's high school graduation ceremony.
However, I am looking forwad to the rescheduled Bowie Blowout at
Bjays!!!

 

I'll just stay hungry, sleepy, and broke, ready to go.

We'll make every effort to be sure the ride is scheduled at a time that
won't conflict with anyone's schedule..

Reports are coming in very rapidly about the whereabouts of Bjay, at
this time.. Darcy McCloskey reported that Bjay was seen crossing the
stateline at about 7 PM CST.. note: the state line is approximately 4 miles
east of his home.. Although the zip code changes and the county line
between Bowie and Miller counties is blurred.. it is acceptable to point
out that Bjay has actually ventured outside both..

Although his current location hasn't been pinned down, it is only a matter
of time before sightings of Bjay will commence to pour into this newsgroup.

Updates will be promptly posted ..

The past few days, the networks are reporting that Wal-Mart is
selling produce and meat products that are tainted and dangerous
to the public..

We are all familiar with Bjays' preferences in shopping at that place..
It should be stipulated that the briskets he provides for our con-
sumption should be certified to have never been in a Wal-Mart fac-
ility.. Could cause Big Ed to become disgustingly gaseous..

Thank you for your support of this worthy cause.. Stay tuned for any
and all updates of this most serious matter..

Everyone already knows full well that I don't have anything to do with
WalMart. Now, if Bjay insists on this patronizing of his local WalMart
store trying to get me involved to the point I'll be eating tainted
WalMart meats, I'll have to resort to getting my good friends to go to
Bowie County with us. "We're already going out there with you" you
might be saying. Nope, I'm talking about my good friends who make a
regular schedule of boycotting and protesting WalMart and their
activities.

Come to think of it, I might have to call up a couple California
friends of mine and get them heading to Bjay's house too. I certainly
hope they're not too busy still making friends with those dead whales,
and will be able to find their way away from the big lake out
there.....

Early yesterday morning I got a call from some guy in Texas calling himself
'BJay'. Took me a few moments to figure out it was the same BJay from this
newsgroup. He was in quite a panic, said he had all his stuff (right down to
his last two bottles of Lone Star beer) strapped on the back of his Mighty
Valk, and headed headed north. He was rather concerned that the Kroger bags
might give out before too long, but he didn't care. He just said he had to
get out of that there Bowie County and had to hide out for a few days, if
he lost his polyester leisure suit along the way, so be it!!

I offered to let him stay up here with the wife and I and he jumped at the
offer, asking me directions. I told him to head north, he seemed confused. I
told him just keep the sun on the right side of his motorcycle, and he'd be
ok. Well, I got a call from him about 6:30 last evening, he was hotter then
a firecracker. I asked what was wrong, and he comenced to tell me everything
was ok till about noon. Then he said he spent about an hour riding in
circles till he was able to get the sun to stay on the right side of his
mighty Valk, lol. He continued on and ended up back in Bowie County.

I have no idea where he is now, but I'm guessing if you see some old
Kroger bags along the hiway (along with an old flamingo colored leisure
suit), he's got to be close-by some where, lol.

"some places"? I'd be willing to give odds that you'll find more place
to get into trouble for admiring a dude's gesticulation than not. I've
heard about one place in Texas where you could do that, but I've never
been there. 6th Street in Austin has "Leslie" who will appreciate your
gesticulation, but you have to give him money for it.

Nothing to "worry" about. When I show up, I will just be passing
through, and I will be offering to take you and your lovely honey to
dinner at one of the finer local dining establishments of your choice,
prior to bidding you a fond "good-night," and retiring to my
previously reserved hotel room.

Personally, I'm looking forward to it!

 

You should figure out how to spend a few days enjoying the hospitality
at Bjays' house.. Can't say for sure, but, I'm given to understand that
no motel/hotel in the area can compare to his estate..

That being said, though.. I should point out that a certain amount of
coercion and tracking may be required to hem Bjay up for a comittment..

It is rumored that Bjay has operational interests in at least one eatery
establishment in the area, so if he tries to feed you some hot links or
something of that nature, you will be well advised to be suspicious..
