Spent the day yesterday, doing what I enjoy most..

Ran up with three of the good friends in Grapevine.. One of them had ordered
some mirrors for his motorcycle and we picked them up at the Kawasaki
    dealer..

To make sure that everything was going to go together, like we wanted.. we
just borrowed a couple of tools from the shop and installed those things,
right there at the front door of the dealership.. Between the four of us and
a couple of experiments to get them right, we did a good job.. Sure made a
difference in the cleaner appearance of the bike, and the functionality of
the mirrors.. Needless to say, all four of us wouldn't make a pimple on the
ass of a good mechanic.. lol

Next on the agenda was a good lunch at the nearby El Fenix restaurant.. Back
to the dealership to pay premium price for a couple of spark plugs for the
    Green One..

My mirror buddy decided he needed to change out his spark plugs, also.. so
we cruised over to Irving, where he saved a pile of money for those
overpriced suckers.. I'll know better, next time.. <chuckle>

As well as I like that Green Vulcan.. that sucker is a pain in the ass to
change plugs.. The seat has to come off.. the instrument monument removed
and the gas tank pulled.. whew.. After all that, there is a special tool
that is required to pull those damned recessed plugs..

We got the plugs changed on the two motorcycles and they are ready to run..
Guess we'll be trying out our mechanical performance on this trip tomorrow..
    Regards

Both my Hondas have the exact plug socket and extender in the too bag,
to get right in there. Pulling the tank, is odd, hmmmh.
Dont have to do that on these ole Hondas.
Man, the 6 plugs in the Valk are shore easy to get too, it being a flat
motor. They are sticking right out on the sides.~~
I had a friend that bought a used Honda, and the tool bag was missing,
he ask the Dealer how much were they, was told a $100.( he just put him
    oe together to an extent)
Of all motorcycles, sorta odd. that Harleys dont come with a tool kit on
it?? I guess it would be hard to put that many tools in a small leather
    bag, eh??? (grin,grin.grin)
So, Bill Walker, you are ready for the Ozarks. Have fun. BJAY~~

Oh, I wish I could, but that ''Deal'' I told you about starts on Friday.
I'll be drunk by noon. (nah, just kidding about the drunk part). We're
taking the afternoon off, to help em' kick it off, to a good start.
