That's liquid cooled and everything.. even got a power valve. Nice
though. 2.5 US gal worth of fuel wouldn't go anywhere on a road
conversion though.

 

90+ hp is easily achievable from a CR500 (a mate's makes 110hp), &
Acerbis do rally tanks. That's the way to go for sheer lunacy.

It would be fun to graft two 110hp CR500 engines together and put the
resulting product into a light weight sports bike frame.

 

It might be worth e-mailing the author a few spaces so he can cut and
paste them into hisarticle

 

I think cut and paste was his problem.

 

Actually Maico made it happen again, there was a REALLY big Maico running in
the Supermoto championship here several years ago.

the already mentioned ATK bike.
