unmarked car?

Audi A8 came up behind me at about 140mph and then undertook 3 lanes
of traffic on the hardshoulder. Do the police on the M3 use these or is
this guy just another lunatic ?

 

I used to think the same until my wife started bleeding to
death in the middle of Ikea [1] and I had to get her to a
hospital sharpish.

Please don't judge - it may well have been a real emergency.

I actually use my mirrors and I saw him about a mile behind and was
ready to pull over. It just made me wander the way he came up behind me
at 100+ and then undertook cars using the hardshoulder, I did not see
any lights so guess he was not a plod but the mind boggles. Maybe he
did have a good reason like you say , would have had to have been at
least as good as yours to convince a court IMHO..

Hampshire plod tend to use Skoda Octavia's at present as unmarked cars.
Not seen an A8 yet.

 

If it had been a pig and they had killed someone with their appalling
driving, they would have got away with it.............this seems to make the
cunts good drivers in some peoples eyes.................they are fucking
useless!

hants, yes I have seen the Skodas , I confused a chap in one the other
day when I waited for him to pass to have a visual check for plod like
chars. the A8 was being driven as if it was stolen praps it was.

 

Wasn't a dark aubergine colour was it? It's just I saw an A8 (or S8?)
do exactly this on the M56 at Wythenshawe a couple of weeks ago. The
five male occupants looked like they were on their way to/from a bank
job.
