Would anyone be able to pick up a pair of wheels from Dorking, and get
them on their way to Cheltenham? It would needs to be done in the
    seven days or so.

I'll likely be in Sutton next week and can come home via Dorking. I won't
know which day until Friday pm though. I can collect but only get them back
    to Melksham or Gillingham (Dorset).
Possibly someone could pick them up from and take them the rest of the way?

Or I'm about 6 miles from M4 J16 if you wanted to stop off for a cuppa
& drop them here, or meet between the M4 & Bassett at somewhere like
    Sally Pussy's.

Avebury would be easier. When I come home from 'town' I always use the
M3/A303 and then the cracking roads across the 'Plains'. I'm only about
    20mins from Avebury.

Ah ok. Bit more of a trek from here, but ok so long as it's after 5ish.
Champ, wanna pick them up from Purton, or wait for a better offer?

I've just confirmed that I'm up in town next Weds so could pick the wheels
up from Dorking either Tues eve (preferable) or ~3-4pm Weds.

    Excellent!

Can I put you on standby, so to speak? It's just that I may *have* to
go to that part of the world myself (to see my dear old grandma).
But, if I don't I'll take you up on the offer.

    Thanks again.

No problems. Just let me know before Tuesday afternoon as I'll take the bike
instead of the 'Velle if I haven't got to collect the wheels.
    No worries.

A bit closer for me, if that's any help.

If you do, and can get them to "Melksham or Gillingham (Dorset)" then I
can pick them up on either Wednesday or Thursday. Working in Poole next
week, so I'll be heading past both you and Champ on the way home.
