    Particularly yesterday morning, when I could hardly mve my fucking
    head for the (literal) pain in the neck. Agony, it was. A little
    better today.

    But I still don't think it's funny.

    In the 1890s when Byron Bay was starting to grow around the
    original settlement at Cavanbah it was erroneously thought that Captain
    Cook named the Bay after Lord Byron, so to start with streets running one
    way were named after novelists/playwrights, and streets crossing them
    named after poets. This broke down somewhat due to crossovers (and I've
    never come across an author named Seaview, nor Bangalow for that matter)
    but the literary emphasis remains (my home is on Shirley St, the main drag
    is Jonson St, the Bowlo is in Marvell St, and so on...).
