  1. OK, I'm officially piking.

I hope you all have a great time, telling stories and drinking poofter
    drink.

There is still a chance but I doubt it.

    I'm definitely piking.

Because I'm picking up my new Norge on Saturday morning and a drone
down the Hume is not my choice for running it in.

    As the owner's manual says:

"Twisty roads and gradients are ideal to run in engine, brakes, and
    suspension effectively."

    Italians understand these things....

    - off to the Old Road and then maybe Wiseman's and possibly even the
    Putty.

I stopped there and had a pie in the sky on Monday morning. Must make a
point of going back some time and trying another.

well so do Germans..very similar in my manual

Anyway you could have had the best of both worlds with some
planning........no need to travel the Hume as the olf Princess Hwy (with
plenty of sidetours like up Macquarie Pass and down Jamberro Mountain ) down
to Batemans way and up over the Mountain to Braidwood would be very
    enjoyable

I usually leave home in Campsie about 8am, head up as far as the bit I
believe is known as "the slab" as in the spot people turn around to go
back down the tight twisty bits they are currently resurfacing, then
to Mt White. As I don't drink coffee, I don't care what the coffee's
    like :)

No reason I can't go as far as Pie in the Sky on the way back.

    Never mind.

The Norge and I had a great time, and 2 people at Pie in the Sky came
over to talk about it and one (a Honda ST1300 rider) sat on it and was
impressed with the riding position and feel.

So I've done my bit for world domination today!

334km, may take it on another ride today as I want to have ther first
service done before the Ruptured Budgie.

Like its forefather, my 1974 850GT, this 2007GT has a very comfortable
upright riding position, sweet manners, and clouts the centrestand on
    bumpy left handers.

Time to fiddle the suspension methinks!
