I've just discovered that one can watch iPlayer output by starting the
programme with Tor enabled. Once it's started you can disable Tor again.

Now I can forget to record Question Time without the hassle of searching
    for Torrents. :)

It's lovely. Once I've finished correcting the =~ seventy-five homework
exercises that are sitting on my desk, I'll be plunging into it.

Well if I can watch the BBC's iPlayer from over here, I'll be a happy
bunny. Right now, the only English-language stuff I can get is Sky News
    or Al-Jazeera.

I paid it for decades, so BBC executives could laze by their swimming
pools, now it's time for some payback.

You had it for decades watching TV and listening to the radio.

I would think that it was conceived of and designed
by paranoid whackos and that they would most likely
    subsequently use it.

  18. During the years I paid it, I actually watched or listened to very
little of the Beeb's output, so on a pro-rata basis I'm owed a lot.
Stick that up yer little Englander pipe and puff on it, matey. :)

I must be cleaner that squeaky, then, as I've never even considered
hiding my IP for any reason other than to defeat the ridiculous 'no,
you're in the wrong country', shite ...

Irrelevant whether you watched/listened to little or lots. You by your
own admission listened to some and clearly got your money's worth. So
I'm fucked if my taxes should pay for you to listen to stuff you've no
right to. Put it another way, send me a fiver and I'll stop
    complaining.
