I work in Farnborough.

Eldest sprog is at Uni in Canterbury, she's out the country at the
moment but going back again, not sure when. Else I can meet you
somewhere 1/2 way.

It's like where my company's UK headquarters are based. They're in
Ashford, Middx.

This causes no end of confusion with my European colleagues that
confuse it with the Ashford (Intl) Eurostar station in Kent.
