After entering a small, remote but packed country pub[1] a few hours ago
(hic) a short, fat, red-nosed regular at the bar spied the baked-bean tin
design on my UKRM t-shirt and slurred "Why the **** have you got a baked
    bean tin on your shirt?"
I explained and he shook his head saying "You bikers are all such sad
    wankers".
Smiling, I turned to take the drinks over to my friends, making sure the guy
had plenty of time to see the back of my t-shirt and, as I'd hoped, to ask
"What do letters on the back mean?"......

    *result*)

[1] never been there before. Think 'The Slaughtered Lamb' but with carpets
    and more people.

He is right, I think the "bean" "FOYRNB" thing is a pile of wank.
And he still thought you were a sad wanker after wards....

    You have a point. I haven't ridden one for over a year[1].

    [1] a bike, not a biker

Look on the bright side, that means you may not be a sad wanker...

You should get together and form a club. You'd get on great!
That would only be a problem if I actually cared what he thought.

You must have, you wore the Tshit[1], and they took the effort to point
out the meaning to him, and posted here.

I posted it here because a) I thought it was amusing that the t-shirt both
invited the derogatory comment and facilitated the perfect put-down and b)
    it's a UKRM t-shirt

Had a bad day Bruce? You're very brusque tonight.

He is a bit, isn't he?

Still, with him being a Scouser he's probably a bit pissed.

Apparently, the whole town's celebrating. I've seen it on the telly.

WTF was going on with Thursday's six o'clock news; 15 minutes of football
wank at the beginning. I honestly can't see why it was given so much
    prominence.

Although sections of the BBC staff were on strike so that may have been
the only 'news' they could deliver.
