Any one got somewhere I can stay over (other than in a field) for the (last)
    KRC race?

I could camp I suppose - will there be space at Donny? :)

I'm thinking - Lazy ride over via Black Horse and a night or two in
the 4 poster. Couple of days at Donnington and then home by the scenic
route THEN I looked at a map and realised the BH and Donnington are
only 21 miles apart and the possibility of plans developed in my tiny
mind. Any takers for this general strategisation, a sort of EOTUKRM.

I shall have Sunday Dinner by Mu this year if it kills someone (else)

That sounds like a fucking good plan. I'll book a day off too.

It may make some sense as a base - how much is the B&B rate anyway - anyone?

I haven't a clue, my circumstances often change half way through the
weekend and the bill changes accordingly.
    Best lass to ask imo.

  10. IIRC £40/night single occupancy, £45 double though it could be
    different on non UKRM dates.

To date Mu has offered that rate (somewhat below posted rate) to
UKRMers she knows. I wouldn't take it for granted.

Which was partly my reason for not posting it and referring the enquiry

It would appear for Saturday night the BH is pretty much booked up so
that falls as a plan unless people fancy camping out again. Toss up
between there and the field at Donnington. I have no experience of
camping out at Donnington so what do folk think??

OK if you don't mind a turbofan wake-up call. Or lullaby, for that
    matter.

  19. There are these really strange things called buses that run until really
rather late [1][2] that run to / from Castle Donnington to / from Derby
where people could opt to stay in a B&B or hotel if a tent was not a
    preferred option.
