Lisa Ekdahl "When did you leave heaven"

Really, really good listening. An especially well-balanced version of
"Love For Sale", which is hard to make fresh, since it's one of *the*
    jazz standards.

The only trouble is, my current listening seems to be dominated by
female vocals. Anyone got any suggestions on how to rectify this?

    Not the faintest, why change?

Have you listened to her debut album "Lisa Ekdahl" stunning vocals and worth
the money just for track one:

    Öpnat upp dit fönster

You don't even have to speak Swedish to appreciate it

I thought I'd let her get over the loss of her grandad first. Mark of
    respect, innit.

Yeah but if she's crying during sex it'll really shatter my fragile
    ego.

  11. Nuts. George Melly.
It will be released on Monday for the first time on CD
by Warner Brothers. Proof that jazz can be fun.

Hey - that's not a bad idea. I'll get that.

I've been listening to Bobby Short and his big band. "At the Cafe
    Caryle" I think it's called. It's a grin-a-thon. Great arrangements.

I listen to R3 in the workshop.

I like the scarey experimental contemporary stuff, fortunately they play
quite a bit of it in the afternoon. Either that or I'm not getting very
    good reception.

Radio 3 is fantastic in the late evening, provided you're prepared to keep
an open mind. They play all manner of stuff. Late Junction is another
    good show.

Whispering Bob is a good example.
    And
Not every ones musical taste but I sat next to Johnno Nutting for two
years at school and he does love his music:
