    Is there any other sort?
I think I missed that one, but I well recall acting as
diplomat/interpreter in the Sweller vs the Frogs generator sparkplug
    incident.

    Happy days.

  3. Andy and Adie got close to it at Chimay, when Andy let some pissed
    Frenchman ride his ZX10.

I offered Pip a go on the KTM today.

And then realised it was in my garage, 70 miles away.

    I can't even claim I was drunk.

Oh, is that the one where we stayed up until 6am discussing the finer points
    of Mars.......or was it Uranus?

    :)

I'm sure DR now feels insulted.

I don't think your car door ever quite recovered from the slamming it
    got that day :)

But as tempers go, that was bad, but i've since seen worse 8¬0

Oh ged no. DR is a very nice bloke, one of the best - Robbo was someone
    altogether different.

No. I think the parties concerned have put the experience behind them and
I've no idea what the root cause was anyway, just walked into the bar to
    prevent another round taking place.

It was a little tame compared to life with my three sisters and then my
ex-wife. I had to try hard not to laugh at the dramatics - at one point
I was all set to tell her to GFH, but thought it might not go down too
    well.

We were only trying to stop her new bike getting nicked as it wasn't
locked up and we knew how precious it was to her. It had no locks or
security and parked on a driveway in MK isn't the safest place to leave
    a bike like that.

Yes. It's where I discovered what delightful company you are and that
staying up drinking until it gets light was fine when I was 20 but hurts at
40-odd. Still, the afternoon ride to Ieper was nice. where I met another
    stout gentleman and compared hangovers.

  16. Heh.

I was at a rally with a few mates and got talking to a chap.
He asked my mate for a go on his big trailie and was given the keys for
    a bimble around the site.
My mate asked me how long I'd known him, after he'd observed some
spirited riding in and around some tents/people.

    "About ten minutes."

I never really "got" the animosity towards Robbo, he seemed like a
    fairly innocuous chap.

    Must've been before my time.

And here I was hoping you'd offer me a go on the Gixxer. In the rain.
